COPPA Compliance

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Digital Defender is fully committed to compliance with the Children\'s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This page explains our practices and the rights of parents and guardians.

What is COPPA?

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a United States federal law that imposes requirements on operators of websites and online services directed to children under 13. It requires parental consent before collecting personal information from children.

Our COPPA Commitment

Digital Defender is a children's educational platform. We take COPPA compliance seriously and have implemented the following protections: account creation requires a parent or guardian's email address and consent, we do not collect personal information directly from children, and children's progress data is stored securely and accessible only to the account holder.

Information We Collect From Children

Through the parent or guardian's account, we store a child's VR world progress, badges earned, and XP points. We do not collect a child's name, photo, location, or any personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

Parental Rights Under COPPA

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to: review any personal information collected about your child, request that we delete your child's information, and refuse to allow further collection of your child's information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@digitaldef.com.

No Third-Party Advertising

We do not display third-party advertisements to children on our platform. Digital Defender products are ad-free. We do not share children's data with advertisers or data brokers.

Parental Consent

By creating an account and allowing a child to use Digital Defender, you are providing verifiable parental consent as required by COPPA. You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child.

Data Deletion

You may request complete deletion of your child's data at any time by emailing privacy@digitaldef.com. Requests will be processed within 30 days.
